Overall the City Plus is a great hostel, Great location, two minutes from Mong Kok MRT, friendly and helpful staff and the rooms have all the mod cons; TV, air con, telephone for making free local calls but, yes there is a but... The rooms are super small!! Makes things interesting if there are two of you, we had to take it in turns to use the floor space while the other sat on the bed! Oh and get some practice in at sitting on the toilet sideways before you get here!!
The lady in charge was very friendly and helpful. She is very helpful with requests and passed us a hairdryer when we asked for one. The location, five min from Mongkok Station, is excellent. Room is very clean. However, my travelling companion got bitten by bed bugs on the second night but they changed the room for us promptly.
The room was small without windows but the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was even smaller as I had to sit sideways on the toilet. But, you're there to sleep and nothing else. It's clean with a comfortable bed and it's hard to beat the location. Great location.
Brand new room, quite small with no windows but think this may be common for HK. Very good, brand new heat pump which is crucial! Hot water and WiFi didnt work, but they had a computer that they let you use for free anyway. And weather was too hot for a hot shower. Is small and not very social hostel, but common for HK. Would stay here again, especially if for a short amount of time as easy to get to airport. Underground is close to hostel and is cheap/fast/easy travel.
The owner, Ms. Elies Tai, is very friendly, approachable and helpful. You can feel her sincerity when it comes to assisting tourist, when my nephew lost his passport, she immediately offered her assistance and informed us what to do, she speaks english well, Next time i go to HK i will stay in again in cityplus hostel
