We stayed 3 nights in this hostel as we were on a budget and I can say it served its purpose. It was clean, bed covers and towels changed everyday, came with free hot water, wireless internet, towels, electrical adapters, aircon, body wash and shampoo...the basics. Nothing fancy though - this is a hostel. On the downside - the bed was kinda hard for my liking but I was still able to sleep well :) The location was perfect for us, just along Nathan Road, 10-15 minutes walk to the harbor, 10 minutes to Harbour City and Silvercord, 5 minutes from the MTR and bus shops...plenty of shops and eateries around. The owner knows basic English but the son Kenny is more adept at it. You'll have to reserve via Paypal and pay the rest in cash.
I and my friend were staying there for 3 nights. That guesthouse is situated in Tsim Sha Tsui. It's nearer to East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR than Tsim Sha Tsui MTR. It's 5 minutes walk from East Tsim Sha Tsui and 5- 10 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui.
The guesthouse is located in a building which we called as Golden Crown Court. This building is well secured with security guide and CCTV surveillance. There are 2 lifts in the building, one is for the floor which is odd number and one is for the even number. This building has 2 or 3 guesthouse in it. It's not as many as Chungking Mansion and Mirador Mansion. So, the environment,not so complicated as both Chungking Mansion and Mirador Mansion.
The staff is quite friendly. Mr. Tai, the owner of the guesthouse is from China. He's a Hokkien people and he is 50++. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
If i would make the second trip to Hong Kong,i will stay in this guesthouse again.
